Discover Your Next Star Employee and Make a Positive Impact: Unleash Potential with Purposeful Hiring!

Why Participate?

  • Secure an intern who has undergone an extensive 8-week academic training program at Merritt College, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the cannabis industry at a high level.

  • Your HR department is relieved from onboarding responsibilities for the intern, as an external Employer of Record (EoR) is appointed to handle all HR tasks, including worker’s compensation, taxes, and other HR-related responsibilities.

  • You will be exempted from directly paying the intern’s wages, as our EoR will be compensating each at an approximate rate of $21.28/hour.

The Benefits

  • Establish a pool of potential future employees who have already gained familiarity with the company’s operations and culture.

  • Accessing a talent pool that can be trained and tailored to specific company needs during the internship period.

  • Leveraging the internship period to assess candidates’ performance, ensuring that those hired for full-time positions are likely to contribute effectively from day one.

  • Promoting diversity within the workforce by providing opportunities to individuals from different demographic backgrounds.

  • Demonstrating commitment to social responsibility by providing opportunities for skill development and employment to individuals from various backgrounds.
